If You Experience Promise and Fail Too Much, Read This Quickly and Break It Once and For All
My people, see, let me tell you o, life is warfare and you must face them spiritually. If you experience promise and fail in any area of your life and you noticed it as become a pattern, this post is for you.
If there is something that has been tormenting many people, and they don’t even know what to call it or how to fight it. You know that pattern where something good is about to happen in your life⦠you can almost touch it, people are congratulating you, everything looks set, and then GBAM! It crashes at the last minute. The job you were sure you’d get goes to someone else. The relationship that seemed perfect suddenly ends. The business deal that was “guaranteed” falls through. If this is your story, sit down and read this carefully.
This thing has a name, and it’s called “promise and fail” or “almost there but not quite” syndrome. Some call it the spirit of Pharaoh because just like how Pharaoh kept promising Moses that the Israelites could go and then changing his mind, this spirit makes your breakthroughs to be so close yet so far.
First, You Need to Understand What’s Happening Spiritually
This is not ordinary bad luck or coincidence. When this pattern keeps repeating in your life, there’s a spiritual force working against your destiny. It could be ancestral curses, it could be enemies who have done something against your progress, or it could be that you’ve opened doors through sin or wrong associations. The enemy knows your time of blessing is near, so he fights hardest when you’re closest to your breakthrough.
I’ve seen people who get to the final interview stage of every job they apply for but never get selected. I’ve seen ladies who have multiple wedding dates but somehow the marriages never hold. I’ve seen business people who almost close big deals but something always goes wrong at the last minute. If this sounds familiar, you’re not dealing with ordinary challenges.
How to Break This Promise and Fail Cycle Permanently
First, you must fast seriously. Not the kind of fasting where you’re still drinking juice and eating fruits or even sipping water every hour o. I’m talking about serious, consecrated fasting where you deny your flesh completely. This spirit is stubborn, and it requires serious spiritual force to dislodge it. Fast for at least 7 days if you can, focusing specifically on breaking delay and frustration in your life.
Second, aggressive midnight prayers. Between 11pm and 3am, you need to be on your knees fighting this battle. Pray Psalm 126, Psalm 118:17, and Isaiah 43:18-19. Tell God that you’re tired of almost making it but never quite getting there. Remind Him of His promises concerning your life and demand that every spirit blocking your manifestation should be paralyzed.
Third, examine your life for open doors. Have you been involved in activities or relationships that don’t honor God? Are you holding unforgiveness against someone? Have you been dishonest in business or relationships? Sometimes, our own actions create legal ground for the enemy to operate in our lives. Repent deeply and close every door you might have opened.
Fourth, break any inherited curses. Some families have patterns of almost succeeding but always failing at the last minute. If you notice this pattern runs in your family lineage, you need to specifically pray against ancestral limitations and generational curses. Declare that you are the one who will break the cycle in your bloodline.
The Prayer That Changes Everything
Every morning for 21 days, declare this: “Every spirit of promise and fail operating in my life, I bind you in the name of Jesus. Every arrow of last-minute disappointment, I return you to sender. Every curse of almost there but not quite, I break you by the blood of Jesus. This is my season of fulfillment, and no demon in hell can stop what God has purposed for my life.”
Finally, Stay Expectant and Postion Yourself For The coming breakthrough.
After you’ve done the spiritual work, remain expectant but also stay prepared. Don’t become discouraged if the breakthrough doesn’t come immediately. Sometimes God tests our faith after we’ve prayed to see if we truly believe what we declared. Keep working, keep applying, keep believing, but now you’re doing it from a place of spiritual authority rather than spiritual vulnerability.
Look, I’ve seen people break out of this cycle and begin to experience uncommon favor and success. It’s possible, but you must be intentional about fighting this battle. This is your time to say enough is enough and take your rightful place in destiny.
